Membership

 

  1. Acceptance of an application for Membership is at our discretion, although we will exercise our discretion reasonably, and in compliance with applicable laws.

  2. Membership entitles members to attend unlimited group exercise classes unless stated otherwise.

 

 

General

  1. We reserve the right to use any individual or group photographs or movie shots of you for press or promotional purposes. However, where reasonably possible, we will ask you to sign a use of image rights form to consent to this usage.

  2. Please note that you must be at least 18 years of age to attend our Jamie Leonard Personal Training group exercise classes.

  3. Jamie Leonard Personal Training is not responsible for the personal belongings of the members or visitors.

  4. Advice- Jamie Leonard Personal Training instructors will offer support and advice with exercises, clothing and nutrition. If this advice is taken or discarded then it falls under the responsibility of the client and not any of the Jamie Leonard Personal Training instructors.   

  5. Business promotions- No member of Jamie Leonard Personal Training is to use the classes as a way to internally promote a business or product to other members unless first approved by Jamie Leonard Personal Training.    

 

Membership Subscriptions

In order to take advantage of the discounted membership subscriptions, you must agree to the following terms and conditions. Please note, in agreeing to the below terms and conditions, you will be applying for and entering into a legally binding contract with Jamie Leonard Personal Training.

Fitness Class Terms and Conditions (Waterbeach and Milton)

  • You are entering a 6/12* month contract. 

  • This contract will automatically renew for the same term after the anniversary date

  • Members paying by subscription cannot carry missed sessions over into the next month.

  • You cannot stop start your subscription to make up sessions.

  • Your subscription payment will be taken automatically on the same date each month.

  • The earliest point at which you may cancel your contract with us is 1 month prior to your anniversary, which must be done in writing (therefore giving us one months’ notice). We will continue to collect payments until we are notified either in writing or by email to admin@jlfit.co.uk that a member wishes to cancel their membership.

  • Monthly rolling memberships can be cancelled at any time by notifying Jamie Leonard Personal Training 5 days prior to your next billing date. We will continue to collect monthly payments until we are notified either in writing or by email to admin@jlfit.co.uk that a member wishes to cancel their membership.

  • You will receive email acknowledgement of your cancellation; this is your evidence of cancellation and should be retained. Please note that if you do not receive confirmation, your email has not been received by us. Members who cancel their subscription before the contract anniversary are liable to pay the remainder of the contract in full.

  • No refunds are offered for non-usage of sessions

  • You may apply to freeze your contract in writing or by email to admin@jlfit.co.uk.

  • Applications for freezing of membership will be reviewed on a case by case basis

  • Jamie Leonard Personal Training reserve the right to make changes in pricing for subscription members at any time.

  • Notification on the Jamie Leonard Personal Training website along with email communications to the members registered address will be sent out 30 days prior to any change in pricing.

  • Our money back guarantee scheme (Lose at least 5kg or get your money back) is only available for members on the 6-week challenge. Members must attend 3 classes per week, follow our nutrition plan and complete the weekly check-in form to be eligible.

  • All pre-paid block packages have a completion time of 4 months unless otherwise stated by Jamie Leonard Personal Training.

  • Pay As You Go purchase is valid for 7 days from the date of purchase. 

Group Fitness Liability Waiver

By signing up for a subscription with Jamie Leonard Personal Training you are agreeing to the following.

You are agreeing to participate in the group fitness class organised by Jamie Leonard Personal Training. The activities of the group fitness class include strength training, running, agility drills, jumping, intense cardiovascular activities and flexibility training. I understand that incorrect form on any of exercises can lead to injury, and I will ask for assistance if I am unsure of how to perform an exercise safely.

I acknowledge that there are risks associated with physical activity. The risks include, but are not limited to, those caused by terrain, facilities, temperature, weather, my physical condition, equipment, actions of other people including, but not limited to, participants, volunteers, poor nutrition and lack of hydration.

In consideration of me being accepted as a client, I agree to release and discharge Jamie Leonard Personal Training and any of its Trainer’s, volunteers and supervisors from any injuries sustained as a result of participation in this programme. I agree to indemnify and hold harmless, Jamie Leonard Personal Training, and any of its employees, volunteers and supervisors, facilities and owners against any liability incurred as a result of such injury or loss.

Fitness activities and programmes require that I will be in good health and have no condition that could endanger my wellbeing through participation. I will notify Jamie Leonard Personal Training of any such defects in writing prior to enrolling in this programme.

My answers to the questions on the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire are true and have been completed to the best of my knowledge. I understand and agree that it is my responsibility to inform Jamie Leonard Personal Training of any changes to my health.

You are agreeing  to save and hold harmless and indemnify each and all of the parties referred to above from all liability, loss, cost, claim or damage whatsoever which may be imposed upon said parties because of any defect in or lack of such capacity to so act and release said parties on behalf of yourself.

Online Liability Waiver 

As with all exercise programmes, you are advised to consult with a medical practitioner/GP before commencing any new fitness programme and to stop immediately and seek medical advice if you experience any discomfort or pain. By performing any fitness exercises, you are performing them at your own risk. Jamie Leonard Personal Training and its Instructors will not be responsible or liable for any injury or harm you sustain as a result of our fitness programme, online fitness videos, or information shared on our website.

Client Declaration - Personal Training - Trainer / Client Agreement 

I understand that:

1.Jamie Leonard Personal Training operate on a pre-pay basis in advance. Bookings may not be confirmed until payment has been received by Jamie Leonard Personal Training. 
2. Once my Trainer and I have agreed upon the most appropriate training package for me, payment must be made before the sessions are conducted. I understand that failure to make payment will result in my sessions being forfeited.
3. All pre-paid block packages have a completion date unless stated otherwise by Jamie Leonard Personal Training. 
4. I must contact my Trainer directly to change pre-booked sessions. If I need to re-arrange a session, I must give more than 24 hours notice. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will incur full charge.
5. Cancellations for pre-paid packages which have already started will incur a 25% charge for outstanding sessions to cover time spent researching and developing my package.
6. Sessions will start and finish on time. I understand that my Trainer will not be able to provide a full session if I am late to the session. 
7. The results of any training programme are dependant on my effort and co-operation in and outside of the sessions. No particular result is guaranteed by Jamie Leonard Personal Training.
8. There are inherent risks in participating in a programme of strenuous exercise. If I sustain or claim to sustain an injury while participating in a training package, I acknowledge that Jamie Leonard Personal Training are not responsible. 
9. My answers to the questions on the physical activity readiness questionnaire are true and complete to the best of my knowledge. I understand and agree that it is my responsibility to inform Jamie Leonard Personal Training of any changes to my health now and ongoing. 
10. In the unlikely event of my Trainer being unable to continue my training, Jamie Leonard Personal Training will provide a full refund for the remaining sessions in the package purchased. This refund is subject to proof of purchase being provided. 

 

 

Fitness at the Triangle wellbeing centre fitness studio, DC10 and DC20 terms and conditions. 
 

  • Members can cancel or reschedule their booking anytime before the class start time. 

  • Cancellations made after the class or session start time will incur full charge.

  • Jamie Leonard Personal Training operate on a pre-pay basis in advance. Bookings may not be confirmed until payment has been received by Jamie Leonard Personal Training. 

  • No refunds are given for non-usage of classes or Personal Training sessions.

  • All pre-paid block packages have an expiry time of 3 or 6 months depending on the package purchased and starts from the date of purchase. 

  • Single class purchases have an expiry time of 7 days from the date of purchase. 

  • You may apply to freeze your pre-paid class block package in writing or by email to admin@jlfit.co.uk.

  • Applications for freezing of packages will be reviewed on a case by case basis.

  • There are inherent risks in participating in a programme of strenuous exercise. If I sustain or claim to sustain an injury while participating in a training package, I acknowledge that Jamie Leonard Personal Training are not responsible.

  • My answers to the questions on the physical activity readiness questionnaire are true and complete to the best of my knowledge. I understand and agree that it is my responsibility to inform Jamie Leonard Personal Training of any changes to my health now and ongoing.
